The first baseball card I ever got was a 1986 Topps Pete Rose. I looked on the back and saw all these stats and I remember seeing Phillies and Expos on there. For, whatever reason, made it my mission to find a card of Rose in a Phillies and Expos uniform. I found the Phillies one like a month later. It wasn’t for like 6 or 7 years that I found the Expos one. Without the internet, it was a lot harder to find thing like that. Anyways, to me, Pete Rose in an Expos uniform is like the epitome of coolness.

As an Expos fan and a Pete Rose fan, I find them to be among the most compelling cards ever. There’s another card from the 1985 Fleer set which the article doesn’t show with Rose in an Expos uniform commemorating his 4,000th hit.
