I think standardization of some sort was inevitable once cards started bringing such big prices. But, yeah, things got a lot less fluid as we all started to expect graded pieces. That&#039;s one of the things that has made coming back to the hobby fun, though -- you can buy some pretty cherry cards for less than you would have thought possible during the boom.]]></description>

					<description><![CDATA[I think the Hobby started going down hill when you couldn&#039;t walk into a card shop and say I&#039;d like to sale this card . The guy behind the counter would look at the card and make sure it was mint, and say ok let&#039;s get the Beckett.  It&#039;s the card grading that slowed it down . Got to pay someone to tell you its mint condition. Ridiculous.]]></description>
