This is my first day really noticing the Collector Stories on your site. And I am batting 1.000 (albeit with a small sample size), 2 for 2 on people liking the 1981 set. Like I said on my other reply, I loved the hats on the front and forgot about the Expos hat that was two colored. I like the Gary Carter card because it was on the cusp of taking the torch from Johnny Bench as the best catcher in the NL, and the following year he gets the All-Star card. Edgar was a beast, loved watching him play when I lived in the Pacific NW. Great story, thanks for sharing.
