I think there are only 7 or 8 in all professional sports combined. It started for me when I witnessed my hometown Tigers miracle their raggedy asses over a clearly better St. Louis team. Even at just eight years old I was floored. The Pittsburg comeback was so inspiring, I think it even helped Reagen win. I’m not even a Pirate fan like that but I cry every time I hear that damn song. I think about the fall of 79. Love the way this story was broken down, Baltimore was emotionally hot garbage by game 6, I (I watched every game glued) and you know Roberto was smiling from heaven saying,”we never lose to them guys”.
