Perhaps it is August 26, bottom of the 3rd inning. The Steve Carlton card (#95) photo was taken at Veterans’ Stadium, in the same uniform Robinson was wearing. Most shots in the 1974 set were taken in Spring Training, Wrigley Field, Yankee Stadium, or Shea Stadium. In the Ferguson card, Joe’s pants are dirty on the front. In the top of the third, Ferguson walked; advanced to second on another walk, and then was thrown out at the plate trying to score, to end the inning. Perhaps he slid headfirst. Robinson was up shortly thereafter. Perhaps the photographer stayed only 3 innings on that Sunday, got shots of Carlton and Ferguson, and left.
